Three years ago, we made the best decision in
deciding to adopt another ESS. Zoey then came to us and is the BEST dog
ever. She is not only beautiful but so well behaved and is loved by

kind of melts into you when you pet her!”
Wendy had an angel on her shoulder
when she was dropped at a vet in Virginia. Because she has skin allergies,
her owners wanted Wendy put to sleep. The vet staff refused and took
excellent care of Miss Wendy. Then they called MAESSR to help this
sweet, deserving girl find a forever home.
Wendy has been allergy tested and is
allergic to dust and storage mites. She is on a serum made for her
specific allergies which will cost about $25 per month. The serum was
made as drops to be placed under her tongue and can be administered by her
forever home. Wendy would need to be on the serum for the rest of
her life. Wendy does not mind taking the twice a day drops at
all. Her skin and hair are recovering nicely from the nasty skin infection
she had as a result of her allergies.
Wendy rides well in the car.
She’s a little hesitant about getting in but with more trips in her future she
will soon be a pro.
Wendy walks well on the leash but
could use more practice. This sweetie just wants to be with her people, so
she tries really hard to make them happy.
Wendy is crate trained. She was
not totally housetrained when she came to her foster home. With consistent
guidance, she has had only a couple of accidents. If her forever family works
with her a little, she should be totally reliable in no time.
Wendy has such a gentle, sweet
personality…she kind of melts into you when you pet her! If you are looking for a sweetie that has tons
of unconditional love to give, Wendy is your girl.
