Three years ago, we made the best decision in
deciding to adopt another ESS. Zoey then came to us and is the BEST dog
ever. She is not only beautiful but so well behaved and is loved by
everyone. We can't thank MAESSR and Debbie enough for giving us Zoey. Judy Minnick, NJ

Ellie 5's Story . . .
___________________________________________________________________________________________________
Original:
"Little Miss Ellie is a diamond in the rough. A family committed to
working with her and giving her guidance and love will find her to be sparkly
perfection!”
Ellie
had a wonderful family in Tennessee. However, due to circumstances beyond their
control, they did not have the time to adequately exercise, train, and love on
Ellie. Every effort was made to try to make this work. Unfortunately, the
decision had to be made based on what was in Ellie’s best interest. Her mom
contacted MAESSR to find Ellie the forever home that this little love deserves.
Meet
Ellie! She’s a crazy, fun-loving puppy. She rides well in a car, but her youth
is evident in some of her other behaviors. When walking, Ellie pulls badly on
the leash. She tries her best to counter-surf, but correction is taken
gracefully. She is crate trained and not yet totally housetrained.
Please note that MAESSR only places puppies in
homes that are committed to training and bonding with the pup in obedience
classes. Puppies require a lot of care, attention, and patience, and they do
chew on things! The decision to get a puppy and raise it to be a healthy,
happy, and well-adjusted dog is a serious commitment. To reinforce this
commitment, MAESSR requires all adopters of dogs one year old and under to
enroll their puppy in obedience classes within 60 days of adoption. Obviously
this sweetie will benefit from obedience classes. Being the smart girl that she
is, Ellie should be a star pupil!
Little
Miss Ellie is a diamond in the rough. A family committed to working with her
and giving her guidance and love will find her to be sparkly perfection!
