Three years ago, we made the best decision in
deciding to adopt another ESS. Zoey then came to us and is the BEST dog
ever. She is not only beautiful but so well behaved and is loved by
everyone. We can't thank MAESSR and Debbie enough for giving us Zoey. Judy Minnick, NJ

Clover's Story . . .
___________________________________________________________________________________________________
Original: “This love is such a sweet and kind dog who loves attention and has
no behavioral issues.”
Clover was relinquished due her Virginia owner losing her home which
had a yard. The family was very sorry to let Clover go, but knew a new
home would be in her best interest.
About two years ago, Clover escaped the fenced yard during a storm and was hit
by a car. Her pelvis was broken in
several places. She had surgery to repair it and her leg. As a
result of the accident and subsequent surgery, this young girl has a bad back and leg. She moves around really well, but her new family
will need to be sure that no little kids climb and or fall on her They will also need to monitor her weight as
extra weight could put a strain on her back.
Clover is good with people and children. However, she does
grumble and move away from small children who lean and flop on her. She is
good with other dogs and has no resource guarding issues. Miss C is housetrained and goes to the front
door to indicate her need to go outside.
As an entitled Springer, she currently sleeps in her foster mom’s bed.
Clover does fine in the car for rides and has done well with
grooming in the past at Petco. She does fuss a bit getting clipped at home with
clippers running over head and chest. This
love is such a sweet and kind dog who loves attention and has no behavioral
issues.
Gardeners say that every good lawn should have some clover in it,
and so the lucky family who adopts this beautiful girl will have their very own
Clover!
