Three years ago, we made the best decision in
deciding to adopt another ESS. Zoey then came to us and is the BEST dog
ever. She is not only beautiful but so well behaved and is loved by
everyone. We can't thank MAESSR and Debbie enough for giving us Zoey. Judy Minnick, NJ

Chloe Grace's Story . . .
___________________________________________________________________________________________________
Original: “This little dog was well loved and very spoiled; plus,
she is the cutest thing her foster mom has ever seen!”
Chloe
Grace was relinquished to MAESSR by her loving owner when her work life
changed, requiring her to travel frequently leaving her Maryland home and her
little pup. She didn’t feel it was right to have Chloe spending days at a
time kenneled, nor spending long hours alone. This little dog was well loved
and very spoiled; plus, she is the cutest thing her foster mom has ever seen!
Adjusting
well to life in her foster home, Chloe slowly is becoming the boss of the
household! The two permanent fosters in the home are adjusting nicely to
being under her control. She loves her toys and will entertain herself playing
with them, if no one is up for tug of war. Chloe doesn’t mind the other dogs
playing with her toys either; of course, since she has about 22 toys, there is
no way can she keep a count!
This
sweet girl is housetrained and crate trained, has no separation anxiety issues
and her house manners are excellent. She sleeps in a crate at night in her
foster mom’s bedroom, preferring that to a dog bed. It is a very nice home for
her with toys and pillows, very fancy! Because she is so small and the
other fosters are Springers, she is crated when no one is home.
Chloe
will jump up on the footstool or sofa to make herself at home. She also
likes to sleep on the end tables when it is too warm in the house—an advantage
of being small. She loves long walks and exploring and she is very good
on the leash. Chloe loves to ride in the car, too. She is always up
for any activity as long as she is near people!
This
sweetheart was wonderful at the vet’s office; everyone fell in love with her
sweet nature. This girl needs a home where someone is around a lot and can give
her the attention she is accustomed to having. Chloe is a good mix
between being a lap dog and a medium energy girl.
Wait
for more on this tiny girl as she gets used to her new life.
