  •  Three years ago, we made the best decision in deciding to adopt another ESS.  Zoey then came to us and is the BEST dog ever.  She is not only beautiful but so well behaved and is loved by everyone. We can't thank MAESSR and Debbie enough for giving us Zoey.                                                                                                                                                                                                  Judy Minnick, NJ

Carmen 2's Story . . .
___________________________________________________________________________________________________

Original:  “This wonderful girl is as sweet as she is beautiful.”

Carmen the Standard Poodle came to MAESSR from a breeding situation in Virginia.

This wonderful girl is as sweet as she is beautiful.  When she came to live with her MAESSR foster family, Carmen had never lived in a home, so everything was totally new to her.  She quickly settled into her foster home like she had always been there.  It really is amazing how quickly she has adjusted to indoor life.  This smart girl quickly catches on to anything to do with the GOOD life!

Unfortunately, the "bad" Springers in her foster home started teaching her how to counter-surf.  That behavior has been discouraged so she has stopped.  She quickly understood that eliminating needed to be done strictly outside and she is housetrained.  Carmen walks well on a leash in addition to riding well in the car.

Every dog should have a temperament as sweet as hers. How about bringing this Springer wanna be into your family?
