Three years ago, we made the best decision in
deciding to adopt another ESS. Zoey then came to us and is the BEST dog
ever. She is not only beautiful but so well behaved and is loved by
everyone. We can't thank MAESSR and Debbie enough for giving us Zoey. Judy Minnick, NJ

Carlin's Story . . .
___________________________________________________________________________________________________
Original: “She loves to play and especially LOVES the treadmill; she would walk on it for hours if given the chance—3.5 mph, if you please!”
Carlin’s Maryland family gave her up because she was having accidents in the home. Poor Carlin was having a hard time since her mom and dad were getting divorced; she suddenly found herself left alone and not getting much attention or time to play. MAESSR was asked to help the sweet girl find a new home.
Her original owner described her as nine going on one—an accurate description of this high energy gal who is not inhibited by her early stage cataracts. Carlin loves to play and enjoys having people throw a ball in the air for her to catch. Fetch and/or bring it back? Forget about it! She was used to jogging with her previous owner and therefore especially LOVES the treadmill; she would walk on it for hours if given the chance—3.5 mph, if you please!
This senior has not had any accidents in her foster home. She does attempt some counter-surfing, but doesn’t seem to take it too seriously. Carlin sleeps in a crate or in her foster parents’ bed at night. She was well-behaved at the groomer and rides well in the car.
Could you welcome this very sweet girl into your home? She just loves attention and being with her people. And, as part of MAESSR’s “Home for the Holidays” program, all adoption fees for this love will be waived. Get your treadmill ready and see if you can keep pace with Carlin!!
