Three years ago, we made the best decision in
deciding to adopt another ESS. Zoey then came to us and is the BEST dog
ever. She is not only beautiful but so well behaved and is loved by
everyone. We can't thank MAESSR and Debbie enough for giving us Zoey. Judy Minnick, NJ

Bugsy's Story . . .
___________________________________________________________________________________________________
Original: “A delightful nine year old, Bugsy loves to chase butterflies and birds.”
Bugsy's Virginia family was getting a divorce so he went to stay with a friend for a few months until his divorcing owners could figure out what to do with him. They decided they did not want Bugsy back, so MAESSR was contacted.
Since Bugsy had been living outside during his stay at his temporary home, his foster mom was concerned that he might not be housetrained. She was absolutely wrong. Bugsy has wonderful house manners! He is crate trained, but one is not necessary. No more outdoor living for this boy; he loves a nice comfy dog bed to take a nap in within his wonderful foster home.
A delightful nine year old, Bugsy loves to chase butterflies and birds. He will run around the yard for hours having fun. His little tail is constantly wagging. He is a happy, happy boy who just wants to please.
Bugsy does pull on the leash at the beginning of a walk but settles down fairly quickly into a good routine. He loves riding in the car and doesn't want to get out when the ride is over.
In need of grooming when he first got to his foster home, Bugsy was wonderful for the entire spa process. He even fell asleep while his foster mom shaved him down.
Bugsy’s health is good and he was wonderful for his vet visit. The staff just loved him. He is good with any people he meets. Bugsy is a real sport at having his ears and eyes treated for infections that the vet found. Good boy!
This boy will steal one’s heart in an instant! He will be a wonderful addition to any lucky family.
