Three years ago, we made the best decision in
deciding to adopt another ESS. Zoey then came to us and is the BEST dog
ever. She is not only beautiful but so well behaved and is loved by
everyone. We can't thank MAESSR and Debbie enough for giving us Zoey. Judy Minnick, NJ

Astella's Story . . .
___________________________________________________________________________________________________
Original:
“Although very, very clingy to her foster dad, Astella still enjoys cuddling
with her foster mom, the two young boys in the house, and her canine foster
brother…as long as they aren’t rough-housing too much!”
Astella
was found as a stray wandering in Maryland when she was brought to a local
shelter. MAESSR was contacted to send this young girl on to a better life. She has quickly settled into her foster home
which includes a resident male Springer.
Astella’s
foster parents have found her to be a loving, sweet, and gentle young lass. So
far she has only caused a few little problems like rooting through the trash
and carrying around her foster family’s shoes…although she does drop them when
asked politely to do so. This smart girl will quickly learn the behaviors
required of polite Springers. She
already knows the command “sit,” will give a paw if there is a cookie involved,
and generally is a very nice houseguest.
Although
very, very clingy to her foster dad, Astella still enjoys cuddling with her
foster mom, the two young boys in the house, and her canine foster brother…as
long as they aren’t rough-housing too much!
At her
vet appointment it was discovered that Astella has an ear infection and her
bloodwork was Lyme positive. She is receiving treatment for both and, when the
Lyme medication is completed, she will be scheduled to be spayed.
It
won’t be long before this sweet young girl will soon be ready for her new home.
Wouldn’t you like her to join yours?
