    Treasure's Story . . .
    __________________________________________________________________

Original: “Treasure is everything her name implies.  This sweet girl could not be any better.”

When a Maryland kennel was closing, MAESSR became involved in placing its dogs.  Precious Treasure was one of these dogs.

Treasure is everything her name implies.  This sweet girl could not be any better.  Everyone at the vet’s office even fell in love with her!  Housetrained and crate trained, Treasure is totally trustworthy in the house and she is given free roam inside when her foster parents are out.  The only flaw in her house manners is that she will counter-surf if given the opportunity.  This is something that her foster parents are working on correcting this with her.

Outside, Treasure loves to help with the "gardening” in her foster home.  She will spend hours outside with her foster mom.  If her foster parents want company on a car ride, Treasure will be the first to oblige as she rides well in the car.

Coming from a kennel environment, Treasure knows no commands yet.  Her adopting family would benefit from taking Treasure through a series of obedience classes.  This would enhance Treasure’s understanding of what her humans expected of her.  She’s a smart girl and will be a star pupil.  She’s already a pro at walking well on a leash.

This beautiful Springer will definitely be “treasured” by a lucky family.
