Three years ago, we made the best decision in
deciding to adopt another ESS. Zoey then came to us and is the BEST dog
ever. She is not only beautiful but so well behaved and is loved by
everyone. We can't thank MAESSR and Debbie enough for giving us Zoey. Judy Minnick, NJ

Tinley's Story . . .
___________________________________________________________________________________________________
Original: "Tinley has an excellent temperament, is very social and should adjust to any family environment with ease."
This puppy, puppy, puppy came to a MAESSR foster home from a North Carolina shelter. Tinley is a Springer mix and is just now learning what a good life is to be had in a loving home.
Tinley is housetrained and enjoys going into her crate for meals, quiet time and when her foster mom is not home. She also sleeps through the night in her crate. Since she is just a baby, she has not yet learned an “out” signal.
This youngster has already been learning to walk to heel in her foster home; she’ll need more work on that in her forever home, but she is coming along nicely and does not pull on the leash. Miss Tinley does not know any other commands, but she will be learning them and bonding with her forever family in the obedience classes required of those who adopt dogs under one year old. MAESSR only places puppies in homes that are committed to training and bonding with the pup in obedience classes. Puppies require a lot of care, attention, and patience, and they do chew on things! The decision to get a puppy and raise it to be a healthy, happy, and well-adjusted dog is a serious commitment. To reinforce this commitment, MAESSR requires all adopters of dogs under 1 year old to enroll their puppy in obedience classes within 60 days of adoption.
As with some young dogs, Tinley does sometimes get carsick, and--oh, my--what a drama queen she was on her trip to the vet. She just screamed as if those kind folks were trying to kill her! Puppy, puppy, puppy!!
MAESSR’s new little girl is a very affectionate dog and would be suited to children of any age. Tinley has an excellent temperament, is very social and should adjust to any family environment with ease. Summer is coming, and what fun a lucky family will have with this wonderful, playful puppy as a new addition to the season!
