Three years ago, we made the best decision in
deciding to adopt another ESS. Zoey then came to us and is the BEST dog
ever. She is not only beautiful but so well behaved and is loved by
everyone. We can't thank MAESSR and Debbie enough for giving us Zoey. Judy Minnick, NJ

Sasha 5's Story . . .
___________________________________________________________________________________________________
Original: “Sasha is a very sweet older girl that just likes to hang out with her people, and what a love MAESSR’s older folks are.”
Sasha and Sadie lived together since Sadie was a puppy. These lovely ladies get along remarkably well. MAESSR would love to place them together, but separate good homes separately would be awesome also. They are friendly, housetrained, and easygoing. Their owner had both since they were puppies until he had to move from South Carolina to another state to live with his son. He was very concerned that both girls find loving homes.
Sasha is in good health for a senior. She does not have mobility issues and can manage stairs. In the past, she had a few seizures and was treated successfully. She has not had a seizure in three years and is no longer on seizure medication.
Sasha is a low key, attention loving Springer who is not interested in toys. She is very friendly, does not have separation anxiety and is not aggressive towards people or other animals. She will chase cats and has never lived with cats—cats??? What’s a cat??
This lovely lady was trained by her owner and is well mannered. She walks well on leash, but loves to chase squirrels—pesky critters!
Sasha is a loving, devoted companion and while she craves attention, she has never liked to be petted on the head. She may jump on strangers as a friendly greeting. This beautiful senior is fully housetrained and has complete freedom of the whole house in her foster home. She is allowed on the furniture but sleeps on the floor. She does not beg, chew or counter-surf. Outside, she loves the world, but does not jump fences or dig. She is not a swimmer, nor does she play ball.
Sasha has been groomed professionally and has no issues with having their feet or ears handled.
Here is a very sweet older girl that just likes to hang out with her people, and what a love MAESSR’s older folks are. What a wonderful addition this senior could be to your fall/holiday season. Yay, Sasha!!!
