Three years ago, we made the best decision in
deciding to adopt another ESS. Zoey then came to us and is the BEST dog
ever. She is not only beautiful but so well behaved and is loved by
everyone. We can't thank MAESSR and Debbie enough for giving us Zoey. Judy Minnick, NJ

Red's Story . . .
___________________________________________________________________________________________________
Original: “Red needs an active home that is willing to continue working with this sweet boy to show him all of the good things in life.”
Red's previous owner from Virginia was wheelchair bound and could not keep up with a high energy boy like Red. Red's vet offered to help find Red another home. Then, MAESSR got in contact with Red’s owner, and the rest is history.
This wonderful young boy loves people! He has excellent house manners and his foster mom says he is a joy to have around. He has not counter-surfed or gotten into the trash in his foster home, but he is a big boy and could do either with ease. He is both crate trained and housetrained, having free roam of his foster home with no problems. Red sleeps soundly on a dog bed beside his foster parents’ bed or in a crate at night.
Red rides well in the car and seems to love to go for rides. On leash walks he will pull on the leash at first, but quickly settles to a nice pace. He attended the recent Richmond picnic and was loved by all that met him.
Red needs an active home that is willing to continue working with this sweet boy to show him all of the good things in life. Is that you?
