    Puccini's Story . . .
Original: “… Puccini LOVES food, and that should make it very easy to train him.  Offer him a treat and he will do almost anything!”

Puccini was living in a Maryland kennel which closed; when its residents needed new homes, this sweetie became a MAESSR dog.  He is the sweetest little love bug.  His mission in life is to be as close to his people as he can and to melt hearts with his wonderfully soft eyes.
Since being treated for a nasty urinary tract infection, Puccini has not had any accidents in his foster home.  He is crate trained and will sleep there happily many nights, but definitely prefers his foster family’s BIG bed.  He really likes to sleep in the bed with his folks, and, when he gets that chance, he curls up and does not move.  His foster mom thinks he is afraid he will be put in the crate—you can’t see me; I’m the invisible dog!!
This youngster really doesn’t know any commands and will need some training to walk on a leash and learn all the other behaviors that will make him the best Springer he can be.  But, Puccini LOVES food, and that should make him very easy to train.  Offer him a treat and he will do almost anything!  Taking a series of obedience lessons or two with his adopting family will be a boon to both.  They will bond more and Puccini will learn the commands he will need to live safely and happily in his new home.
Puccini did wonderfully at the groomer and truly loved the attention— and, be sure to watch for his beautiful smile as he had four teeth removed while he was under anesthesia for his neutering.
MAESSR’s new cutie will make a wonderful addition to almost any family.  He only wants LOVE!  Do you have some to spare for this little guy?
