    Polly 2's Story . . .
    ___________________________________________________________________________________________________

Original: “Fun for this love is playing, running, and cuddling with her people.”

Polly and three other Springers came to MAESSR when their Tennessee owner started having financial issues.  He loved his Springers, but knew MAESSR would find them homes where they would be loved and receive good care.

Although Polly was a little shy when she first came to her foster home, she has been extremely good with the other dogs in the  home, quickly acclimated to the multiple dog household and started to have FUN.  Fun for this love is playing, running, and cuddling with her people.  Plus, she loves water and swimming.

Polly is housetrained, crate trained and has excellent house manners.  Outside, when she is not playing, running or swimming, she walks well on her leash.  Being a clever little girl, she usually starts out the night on the dog bed beside her foster parents’ bed, but somehow manages to end up in the big bed by morning.

This beautiful young lady had a spa day, was not really a fan of having her rear end and feet groomed, but was okay with the rest of the procedure.  The vet feels this apprehension can be overcome in time with a groomer’s going slowly and working with positive reinforcement for not reacting.

Polly is one extremely sweet dog who seems to like everyone.  She does have a lot of energy so her forever home will need to be prepared to be busy!!  What fun she will be for an active family!  She may even help rake the leaves!!
