Christine Morlino
Hello, my name is Christine Morlino. I am the proud mama of MAESSR girl Lexie (formerly known as Kiki the mighty midget, adopted 2009). I live on a farm in central Virginia with my husband, Joe, and three kids ages 10, 8 and 7.
I am a veterinarian at Wellesley Animal Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. Born and raised in Williamsburg, VA, I graduated in 1997 from the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and have been working in central Virginia ever since.
I was first introduced to MAESSR back in 2002 when I started treating some of the dogs Debbie Lipcsey would bring to me. Over the years I became increasingly enchanted by all those cute nose freckles and wonderful personalities. This is where my love affair with Springers began. As I learned more about MAESSR and all the wonderful work it does to help these beautiful, furry friends, though, I was drawn in even further. I have never before met a group with so many dedicated, enthusiastic, professional volunteers. In my work, I have gotten to work with a lot of different rescue groups over the years and MAESSR is truly a class act!
I was honored to be asked to join the Board of Directors this year and am looking forward to contributing to this wonderful group in whatever way I can. Thanks for welcoming me aboard!
