Three years ago, we made the best decision in
deciding to adopt another ESS. Zoey then came to us and is the BEST dog
ever. She is not only beautiful but so well behaved and is loved by
everyone. We can't thank MAESSR and Debbie enough for giving us Zoey. Judy Minnick, NJ

Lenny's Story . . .
___________________________________________________________________________________________________
Original: “Prior to her owner’s retirement, Lenny had
enjoyed a year of hunting. She would
likely welcome taking up that activity again.“
Miss Lenny came into MAESSR’s care
along with her mother, Lady. Their surrendering family was an older couple
in New Jersey who were having mobility problems. This made it difficult to care for the two
girls, so the extremely difficult decision was made to allow MAESSR to
find them new families.
Lenny is a wonderfully sweet girl
that loves attention. She is housetrained and has excellent indoor
manners. She is crate trained but, since she is so well-behaved, crating
isn’t necessary. Lenny walks well on a leash and loves going for car
rides.
Like most all Springers, Lenny
enjoys people. She has been raised with
children coming into and out of her home, so she’s good with them as well as
teens and all adults. She tends to bark
when visitors approach the house but is fine once they enter. Once the newcomers are inside, she welcomes
them and quickly begs for their affection!
Prior to her owner’s retirement, Lenny
had enjoyed a year of hunting. She would
likely welcome taking up that activity again.
She also loves to go for walks and missed that when her owner could no
longer take her for such outings.
Well trained, well-tempered, and accustomed
to being loved, this good little girl will be a fabulous addition to some lucky
family.
