  • Adopted Murdock in December 2006 when he was 10 Mos old. He has been the best boy ever! We just learned he has Lymphoma & are devasted. I can't imagine life without him & am hoping he responds well to treatment and lives many more months!!

    Jasmine IV's Story . . .
    ______________________________________________________________________

Original:  "Jasmine is a beautiful little tri-colored girl who spends much of her day playing with her sister and being loved and spoiled by her foster family."

Puppy time comes to MAESSRland! Jasmine and her sister Jade were turned in to a North Carolina shelter. A shelter volunteer there felt that they were springer mixes and contacted MAESSR for help. The MAESSR family leaped into action and these cute little girls were quickly brought into foster care.

Jasmine is a beautiful little tri-colored girl who spends much of her day playing with her sister and being loved and spoiled by her foster family. She is just puppy perfect.

Jasmine’s foster family has begun puppy training which will need to continue with her adopting family. MAESSR only places puppies in homes that are committed to training and bonding with the pup in obedience classes. Puppies require a lot of care, attention, and patience, and they do chew on things! The decision to get a puppy and raise it to be a healthy, happy, and well-adjusted dog is a serious commitment. To reinforce this commitment, MAESSR requires all adopters of dogs under 1 year old to enroll their puppy in an obedience class within 60 days of adoption.

What a wonderful spring this charmer will have with her new family, seeing new places and learning new behaviors!
