    Buddy 40's Story . . .
    ___________________________________________________________________________________________________

Original:  “Buddy is such a wonderful sweetheart.  Everyone that has met him has fallen in LOVE.”

Buddy came to MAESSR from another rescue that had not been able to find him a forever home.  They said most of their adopters thought he was too big (more of him to love!).

When Buddy was at the MAESSR vet for his pre-adoption checkup, a heart murmur was discovered.  The vet was concerned as no mention of a heart murmur was in Buddy’s records.  So, Buddy was taken to the veterinary cardiologist who said, at this time, Buddy does not need any medication—YEAH, BUDDY!!  That diagnosis could change as he ages, so this handsome guy will need to be checked every six months by the regular vet and yearly by the cardiologist.  They will be able to keep a close eye on him to make sure the murmur has not worsened.

This handsome freckle face rides well in the car.  He walks great on a leash.  He is crate trained and his potty training is almost finished--he does still occasionally have an accident in the house. This well behaved lad does not counter-surf and sleeps comfortably on a dog bed in the living room.

Buddy is such a wonderful sweetheart.  Everyone that has met him has fallen in LOVE.  He has such a gentle demeanor but is a very loving and playful boy.  He is going to be such a fantastic new family member!!!
